Wrapper : The evocative period wrapper on this copy is bright, unfaded and complete. It is unclipped. The front panel is bright, showing light rubbing and minor surface creases at the edges. The spine is gently soiled. The head and tail of the spine are lightly bruised. The back panel is bright, showing gentle overall soiling and a touch of gentle wear at the top and bottom edges. Looks very sharp.
Book : The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean, the corners sharp. The spine has lost a little of its lustre and is gently bruised at the head and tail. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are a tad dusty and are spotted. No dog-eared pages. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. A nice copy in a protected wrapper.
